Steve Kempt of Sheldon, Nebraska started on the pole for the 30 lap Cherokee Casino-Resort "A" feature and led the first lap before third starting Boen, aboard the Roadrunner Fabrication/Peterson Fluid Systems sponsored Rocket Chassis took the lead and never looked back. Outside pole sitter Bryant Goldsmith of Corning, Iowa finished second while ninth starting John Anderson of Omaha, Nebraska put on the races best charge of the race. Anderson and his Jay Dickens powered, Shop Quik/REM Plastic Racing Products/MarCorp Electric sponsored car finished third. Kyle Berck and his Dorothy Lynch sponsored Lazer chassis came home fourth while Kempt rounded out the top five. For Boen, it was third series feature win in a row at the 3/8 mile dirt oval and sixth of his career.
